The Canal Cruising Society

The Canal Cruising Society owns the 61 foot traditional style narrowboat Freedom that is a share boat based in Hawne Basin, otherwise known as Coombswood Basin, on the Dudley No.2 canal.

Here is the discussion board and boat log for members of the Society.

Freedom is a comfy 61ft traditional style steel narrowboat. It belongs to the canal Cruising Society, which is a private, non-commercial  group. The group currently has eleven shareholders - allowing costs to be kept to a minimum and reasonable level.

The holiday rota is determined by drawing lots, then selecting your chosen weeks. Some members may only take one week for the year, some may take two and some may just take as many as they can take.
